- The front is stitched in kantha, then machine-sewn to a natural-white, new cloth backing with an envelope enclosure.

- Handcrafted by women who are survivors of (or vulnerable to) exploitation, now employed in work that brings dignity & livelihood. Pillow covers are a smaller project for artisans with less experience or capacity, giving them pride in an attainable, finished product.

Care
Classic cotton throws are 100% machine washable. You will not warp or damage a throw by washing or drying in a machine.
To extend the life of your kantha we recommend: limit full washing, use cold settings, and hang dry or tumble on low.
